“Above and beyond, a magical stay and day! Goosewing Cottage and its owners Stephanie and Daniel, as well as all their suppliers went above and beyond to make our stay for our secret elopement so special, magical and peaceful. It’s all the little details, from checking in on us, greeting us with a “Mrs & Mrs” King sign in the Cottage and hand delivering food platters, breakfast items, and flowers for the wedding day- even making sure all those food items were catered to our food allergies and preferences. They also let us use a picnic blanket of theirs for some creative wedding photos and worked with us and some special props we had for the day- thanks team, you all care so much and it showed!
We had to rebook and cancel big wedding plans a few times due to COVID 19, and when we saw the elopement package for Goosewing we knew this was the route that was best for us as a couple and most true to ourselves and what we really wanted. We literally had to tick some boxes, show up, have fun and embrace the love and moment. All of this was made possible thanks to Goosewing Cottage’s dream team Stephanie and Daniel, and their incredible vendors. We had the most relaxed day, felt so chill and only had to focus on one another- what a wedding day should be about.
